TWO COACHES IN VOLLEYBALL WHO GET BOTH ARJUNA AND DRONACHARYA AWARDS
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the program at the Atlanta in 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. These are the two coaches in volleyball who get both Arjuna and Dronacharya awards.

G E Sridharan is a former Indian men's national volleyball team player from Tamil Nadu, India who played during the late 1970s to late 1980s. He was the second player from Tamil Nadu to receive the Arjuna Award in 1982.
He is the current coach for the Indian men's national volleyball team and former coach for the Tamil Nadu Volleyball team. He's one of the efficient coach who took Indian youth volleyball to a new height winning gold in the Asian Volleyball Championship. He was awarded the Dronacharya Award in 2008, which many people feel it's given too late in his life, seeing the list of his achievements lying before.
Shyam Sunder Rao
Shyam Sunder Rao is a former Indian volleyball player and coach. He is a recipient of the Arjuna award and, in 1995, the Dronacharya award. The Dronacharya Award is officially known as the Dronacharya Award for outstanding coaches in sports and games, is the sports coaching honor of the Republic of India. The award is named after Guru Dronacharya from the Sanskrit epic Mahabharata of ancient India. He was a master of advanced military welfare and was appointed as the royal preceptor to the Kaurava and the Pandava princes for their training in military arts and astras.
It is awarded by the Ministery of Youth Affairs and Sports. Recipients are selected by a committee constituted by the Ministry and are honoured to have made outstanding and meritorious work on a consistent basis and enables Sports in international events over a period of 4 years. Two awards are designated for the lifetime contribution in coaching where the achievements in producing outstanding sportsperson over a period of 20 years or more are considered. As of 2020, the award comprises a bronze statuette of Dronacharya, a certificate, ceremonial dress, and a cash prize of rupees 15 lakh.
Arjun award officially known as Arjuna Awards for outstanding performance in Sports and Games, is the sports honor of the Republic of India. The award is named after Arjun, the character from the Sanskrit epic Mahabharat of Ancient India. He is one of the Pandavad depicted as the skilled archer. He has been seen as a symbol of hard work, dedication and concentration
It is awarded by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Before the introduction of the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna in 1991-1992 Arjun award was the highest sporting honour of India. The nominations for the award received from all government recognized national sports federations. The Indian Olympic Association, the Sports Authority of India as the sports promotion and control boards, the state and Union Territory Governments and the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Arjuna Dhyanchand and Dronacharya awardees of the previous years. The recipient is selected by a committee constituted by the Ministry and are honoured for their good performance in the field of sports over a period of four years at international level and for having shown qualities of leadership, sportsmanship and a sense of discipline. As of 2020, the award comprises, a bronze statuette of Arjuna, certificate, ceremonial dress, and a cash prize of rupees 15 lakh.
